With nearly a decade of experience working with young people, I have had the privilege of supporting learners across a wide range of ages and educational settings. My background includes working with 16–18-year-olds, as well as teaching performing arts to children as young as four. For the past four years, I have specialised in alternative provision, where I have developed a deep passion for creating tailored learning experiences that empower students to reach their full potential.
As a tutor, I thrive on engaging with students in ways that work best for them, providing challenge and encouragement to help them succeed. I firmly believe that with the right support, every learner can overcome barriers.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and exploring new places across the UK. I am also preparing for my first Tough Mudder in June to raise funds for a local hospice, embracing challenges both in and out of the classroom.
I am incredibly passionate about education and look forward to supporting each student on their unique learning journey.
Lovely to meet you! I’m Serina; a SENDCO and teacher of 18 years. I’m also a trainee Person Centred Therapist and hope that this is something we will go on to offer at The Dandelion Hub once I’m fully qualified.
I’m a mum, a creative, a mindfulness coach and teaching and learning is my passion. I’ve worked in PRUs, Specialist Setting APs as well as Mainstream and don’t think I’ll ever stop loving what I do. My work is highly personalised; creative and I have a keen interest in how we learn and the way in which we can develop our Executive Functioning Skills.
I believe that every person on this earth is here for their own unique purpose and I like to feel I can facilitate them on that journey in finding out just who they truly are and what their purpose is. I’m excited to work with you all!
I’m Lianne I have over 20 years’ experience across probation, youth work, early years, primary teaching, support work and post-16 education. I’m driven by a deep belief in every individual’s potential to grow, achieve, and thrive. My approach is rooted in empowerment, built on respect, and inspired by the idea that learning opportunities exist everywhere—if you know where to look.
I champion both innovative and evidence-based practices that deliver real, measurable outcomes. My work is community-driven, inclusive, and focused on building resilience and long-term capacity within individuals and systems.
I collaborate widely, knowing that meaningful change happens through strong partnerships and shared vision.
I believe in taking a holistic approach—addressing challenges at the root and supporting sustainable, transformative solutions. From mentoring to outreach, teaching to advocacy, my work is about creating impact that lasts.
At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to supporting people in becoming the best version of themselves—and helping systems evolve to support them every step of the way.
